So Bobby happens to see me yesterday while I was on lunch and tells me that my trainer interview is today at one in the afternoon. I laugh and say thanks for the heads up. He tells me that they usually don't tell people until the day of the interview, so it was kind of a heads up. The coordinators that happen to be sitting in the room with me accidentally let slip some similar type questions that they might ask before Bobby tell them to hush up because I'm not supposed to be able to prepare for the interview. Being the emotional being I am, I almost cried when he told me that my interview was the next day. It is only one week since my phone interview for the professional internship (PI).
This trainer interview is completely different from the professional internship's interviews. I signed up to be a trainer about a week ago or so. I felt that it would look good that I took the initiative to become a trainer even though I know that I might transfer out. I'm hoping, God forbid I don't get the PI, that by being a trainer it will help me to stay on as at least part-time and not just seasonal after my college program ends in January.
My manager, Jaime, was one of the interviewers. I had to teach him how to tie his shoe. I think the interview went well but not as well as my other interview. I hope I get it. All my managers beforehand said that I would do well and wished me luck.
I really like this management team. They're supportive with trying to help you accomplish goals, and they are willing to help any way that they can. It' a great team to work with here at Epcot, and I hope all the teams I work with in the future are just as great as they are.
I'll keep you updated on how everything turns out with this interview. I haven't heard anything back from the PI yet. Thanks for reading!
My husband and I are starting our lives together this year, and many things are changing from graduating college to getting married. We're being thrown into the "real" world, and this blog will document it. Many things will happen and challenge us. This is our story. Our life's starting point.

Thank You cards
Finally, the thank you cards are finished. I finished them in the wee morning hours today. I am happy to say that I pushed through, and I am now finished with them. If you do not receive one, please let me know that I missed you. It was not intentional. I will be buying stamps so that I can mail them all today. This should be the last of the wedding stuff I have to deal with except for pictures, which I have yet to develop or print out. :(
On another note, I realized today that I might need to get a second part-time job to ease our financial struggles a bit. Getting paid minimum wage sucks. I was thinking about applying to the Sweetbay next to our apartment complex because then I could walk to work. I will do that while I am out buying stamps, perhaps I will walk to Sweetbay to buy my stamps.
Thanks for reading. I am committed to blogging more so that everyone stays up to date on what's going in the lives of Chris and Jessica. This month I plan to publish at least ten posts, which equates to one every few days. (I don't know if enough stuff will happen to keep up with that kind of schedule, but I will try not to bore you) Anyway, that's what's up. Comment below or simply keep us in your thoughts. :) Smile today. :D
